How Reservoir works

Launch a token, fill a vault, and let anyone swap from it at a fair, fixed price.

1. Launch

Fill in your token

Add a name, symbol, picture and description. Pick shared or single mode, and choose an optional first buy.

Send the deposit

You get a deposit address. Send the amount shown and your token goes live on pump.fun within moments.

You get a vault

Each token gets its own vault that holds SOL and tokens for swapping.

2. Rewards go to liquidity, every hour

Every hour, the trading rewards earned by your token are collected. They are split in half:

50% buys the token

The tokens stay in the vault so there is always supply to swap.

50% stays as SOL

The SOL deepens the pool so people can sell back.

Each hour the pool gets deeper, and so does its depth level, from 1 up to 10.

3. Shared or single

Shared

Your SOL goes into one big pool that every shared token uses. More tokens means a deeper pool for everyone. Best for reach and lasting depth.

Single

Your SOL stays in your own vault and backs only your token. Best if you want full control over how deep your own pool gets.

4. Vault swap

Swapping from the vault is different from trading on a chart.

  • Fixed price, based on the recent average price
  • 0% fees
  • Zero slippage, you get exactly the quote you see
  • No impact on the price chart

Pick a token, enter an amount, check the quote, and approve in your wallet.

5. Safety

  • Averaged pricing. Swaps use a five minute average price, so a sudden spike cannot be used against the vault.
  • Price check. If the live price moves too far from the average, swaps pause until it settles.
  • Reserve cap. A single swap can never take more than 95% of what the vault holds.
  • Wallet cap. One wallet can take only a limited share of the reserves each hour, so no one can drain a pool.

FAQ

Does it cost anything to swap?

No fee is charged by Reservoir. You only pay the small network fee of Solana.

Why is my swap not available?

The price may be moving fast, the vault may be low on one side, or you may have reached your hourly limit. Try again in a minute.

What does the creation fee cover?

It covers setting up your token and vault. The rest of your deposit goes to your first buy and network rent.

Where do I see my tokens?

Open Portfolio after connecting your wallet to see your launches and swaps.

What is the depth level?

A score from 1 to 10 showing how much SOL a vault holds. Deeper means bigger swaps are possible.
